The City Council of Jaen has launched a new bus service to Santa Catalina Castle for weekends and feast days. A service for citizens and visitors to get easily  up and down the castle.

The following bus stops are recommended for visitors:

-The back of the cathedral, at Ramon y Cajal Street ( 10-15 minutes later from the starting point ( Libertad Square)

-15, Paseo de la Estacion

-In front of Caja Rural, at Paseo de la Estacion

The bus route to get up to the castle and its bus stops:

Libertad Square, 22 Madrid Avenue, 4 Baeza Street,  15, Paseo Estacion, Caja Rural at Paseo Estacion, Alamos Street, Ramon y Caja Street, Senda de los Huertos Street, Juan Montilla Street, Circunvalación Road, Castle at the Parador Hotel.

 

Going up times:

Fridays: 4.00 p.m., 5.30 p.m.and 7.00 p.m.

Saturdays: 10.00 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m., 2.30 p.m., 4.00 p.m., 5.30 p.m., 7.00 p.m.

Sundays and feast days: 10.00 a.m., 11.30 a.m., 1.00 p.m., 2.30 p.m.

The bus route to get down from the castle and the bus stops:

Castle, Circunvalacion Road, Juan Montilla Street, Senda de los Huertos Street, Fuente de Don Diego Street, Adarves Bajos Street, Virgen de la Capilla Street, 8 and 22 Madrid Avenue,  4 Baeza Street, 15 Paseo de la Estacion and Libertad Square.

Going down times:

Fridays: 4.30 p.m., 18.00 p.m., 7.30 p.m.

Saturdays: 10.30 a.m., 12.00 p.m., 1.30 p.m., 3 p.m., 4.30 p.m. 6.00 p.m., 7.30 p.m.

Sundays and feast days: 10.30 a.m., 12.00 p.m. 1.30 p.m. and 3.00 p.m.
